What is the Valve Made From?
Our valves are only made from CPVC which gives you the most heat resistance as well as chemical resistance for the longevity of the product.
What is the Difference Between PVC , UPVC, and CPVC ?
PVC is a base material and widely used in most plastics in construction
uPVC is called unplasticized PVC by removing the plasticizers it makes the material much more rigid and durable.
CPVC is Chlrinated PVC with extra chlorine atoms. This changes the molecular structure and signifantly increases both the heat resistance and the chemical resistance.
Heat resistance for this material is up to 200 F can be used with hot water and has excellent chemical resistance.
Why does your valve not have a union?
PVC and CPVC are actually different sizes in order to make our connection universal we chose to go with NPT threads.
What are the seals / O Rings made out of in your valve?
Our Seals / O Rings are Viton seals
What is viton and why does it matter?
What makes your valve different?
In the market most valves are not cpvc they are generally upvc and some are even pvc which is an inferior product material. Also our valves come with a 30 degree bore instead of a 60 degree bore making them more accurate for metering your chemical ratios.
